Apple Is Buying Up 36,000 Acres Of Forest To Conserve It - BuzzFeed News →

April 17, 2015

Forget Apple Watch.

If you haven't been following, the most valuable company in the history of the world has an openly gay CEO who very publicly fights for civil rights, runs 100% of its American operations off renewable energy, created an open medical research platform that's already upending traditional medical trials, is moving rapidly away from conflict minerals and just bought a two forests that, combined, are two-and-a-half times the size of Manhattan, to harvest their own paper.

No company is perfect (international tax loopholes, worker conditions, etc) -- not even close -- but there's a lot to admire here. This company only gets better. This is a company in which I'm proud to invest.
